2015 TDS Training – Run no. 46 – 10K jog that quickly turned into 6K walk

Not much to say.  As usual on Sunday I planned to follow tough Saturday with easier but at least 10-12K jog on Sunday.

But… Same as on Saturday I had hard time getting myself out. Then when I finally ventured out to the heat it felt much hotter that hot. For the first time in over 3 years I was not able to run the Pak Fuk Road climb from North Point up to Tin Hau Temple Road. Legs were surely up for it. But brain was against it.

I simply hiked all the way up to the Sir Cecil’s Ride. Once up there I should run. But I could not. So I walked and then I took the first possible short cut. And when I reached another junction I took the turn that would lead me back to where I started.

At the end the only bit I ran was the the downhill section of the road on the way back. And my total mileage was just about 6km. Not much but still better than 0km that would happen if I stayed home … Tough weekend…
